Denmark (summer 2006)

Denmark is a distinctly low-lying country, the highest point being only 173 metres above sea level, but the landscape is undulating and varied. The survey reveals that Denmark, with its democracy, social equality and peaceful atmosphere, is the happiest country in the world. The town of Tønder is situated in the fenland of South Jutland, north of the Danish-German border.
